David Akierman started working with IICA on February 1, 2018, as a Project Accountant/Administrator for the project “Productivity enhancement of banana farms through integrated soil fertility management in the banana belt area of Belize”. Prior to working with IICA, he worked at the Sugar Industry Research and Development Institute as a Project Accountant/Administrator where he gained expertise in project implementation and management. 

He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. David has over 6 years of experience in fields of accounting such as financial reporting and analysis, audit, bookkeeping and more.
