ChemTica was founded in 1992 to develop & market high performance, economically-priced products. CTI currently markets > 300 products in 50 countries & has 20 products under development. To serve the international community ChemTica produces pheromone lures for more different species than any other company.
ChemTica has extensive ties to the best pheromone research groups in the world. These ties allow ChemTica to keep abreast of new discoveries & to rapidly develop cost-effective products. The company has core strength in fine chemical synthesis & lure development – the backbones of pheromone technology. Laboratory facilities allow 20 kg production batches with yield & purity optimization on modern analytical gas chromatographic – mass spectral instrumentation.
CTI lures use state of the art release technology & are fabricated on automated equipment under strict quality control. Packaging at ChemTica is highly automated and includes in-house machinery design and fabrication facilities. Traps are offered with both permanent sticky or dry adhesive.
CTI’s operates in Sto. Domingo, Costa Rica in new 15,000 sq. ft. facilities that house over 70 employees. CTI received the Costa Rican Exporters Association award for innovative products in 2000 (Intel won in 1999). ChemTica USA, located in Durant, Oklahoma, is an associated company that collaborates with CTI to better serve its US and Canadian customers.
