Different endophytic fungi change volatile organic compound emissions in tomato plants- Conference Paper uri icon

Resumen

  • Beauveria bassiana is a well-known entomopathogenic fungi used as a biocontrol agent against different insect herbivores that attack a wide range of crops. However, some Beauveria bassiana strains have also been reported as endophytic colonizer of plant tissues of economically important crops such as coffee, grass, maize, sorghum and others. Nevertheless, no report has been published about the induced responses of this fungus on the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) profiles of tomato plants.
