Carissa Wong is Partner at Bionomos Law Professional Corporation in Ottawa, Canada and Associate Research Fellow of the Center for International Sustainable Development Law and practices public interest environmental law with a focus on biodiversity and water.  Carissa has over 15 years in the environmental field at WWF, the International Development Law Organization, Ecojustice and the United Nations Environment Programme.  She holds a Master’s in Environmental Management in Resource Ecology from Duke University, an Honour’s Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Toronto and a Juris Doctor common law degree from the University of Ottawa.  She is currently an advisor to the Ontario Environment Network, the Ottawa Eco-Talent Network, and the Canadian Climate Forum.
