As a research scientist the last seven years was engaged in Invasive Species Management and plant health issues in the wider Caribbean. Gained considerable experience in agricultural development with a focus on information dissemination; project management and monitoring and evaluation of projects.
Pursued postgraduate work in the management of nitrogen in heavy clay soils including on farm trials to test the research recommendation on farmers’fields. Research and development experience working on tropical fruit development with particular focus on Barbadine (Passiflora quadrangularis) and Soursop (Annona mucrica).
