This was the third day of the virtual seminar on the control and eradication of bovine tuberculosis in North America, coordinated by the PROCINORTE collaborative network. The meeting highlighted the significance of this zoonosis for livestock production, international trade, and public health, while evaluating strategies for diagnosis, traceability, and movement control in Mexico and Canada. Discussions also addressed the role of wildlife as a pathogen reservoir, the use of genetic analysis to track strains, and the need to tackle this neglected disease through the comprehensive "One Health" approach.
