Resumen
- The report, part of the CACCI-LAC project (IICA, USAID, IFPRI), documents capacity-building in Guyana and Suriname to access climate finance through workshops and concept note development. It aimed to enhance agricultural climate resilience and prepare proposals aligned with funds such as the GCF. Methodology included stakeholder consultations, participatory training on climate-smart agriculture and project design, and Theory of Change frameworks. Results show strengthened technical skills, alignment with national policies, and initial project concepts on water management, waste circularity, and sustainable value chains. Continued training, national coordination, and feasibility studies are recommended.
