Resumen
- This report summarizes the virtual Climate Finance Course implemented under the CACCI-LAC project (IICA, USAID, IFPRI). The goal was to strengthen technical capacities of agricultural stakeholders in Latin America and the Caribbean to access international climate funds. The methodology combined online sessions, interactive materials, and practical exercises on designing project proposals aligned with the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and similar mechanisms. Results include improved understanding of climate finance architecture, project cycles, and eligibility requirements. Participants produced draft project ideas and valued the hands-on approach. Recommendations include offering the course regularly and developing advanced modules.
