Peterly Bernard joined the IICA Representation Office in Haiti in October 2016, and since then has been working as an assistant coordinator of technical cooperation. He studied Agronomy at the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (2004-2009) of the State University of Haiti where he specialized in Plant Production. As a professional, he worked as an agricultural supervision Manager twice in two USAID-funded projects; 1) WINNER Project in the region of Mirebalais and Croix-des-bouquets; and 2) AVANSE project in Cap-Haitien. In 2014, he went to study in Belgium, where he completed an international master's degree in Protection of Tropical and Subtropical Crops at the University of Liège (Gembloux Agro-Bio-Tech). Back in Haiti, he gained many experiences in development, management and evaluation project in personal activities.
