A primary function of the Dairy Centre is to provide opportunities for transformative student learning through outstanding teaching and research.

Research excellence is key to the Centre’s success. The Centre provides state-of-the-art research facilities to it’s students, visiting scientists, and internationally recognized scientists.

Teaching and research at the Dairy Centre are greatly enriched by the broad international spectrum of students and others studying at the Centre. the interdisciplinary nature of our research programs contributing to development of sustainable food production systems, strong links with the dairy industry, links to various communities, and the campus-like nature of the Centre.
