Resumen

  • The results and directions of the PROCINORTE 2024 International Animal Health Workshop, held in Mexico City, were discussed. The workshop gathered specialists from Canada, the United States, and Mexico to address priority animal diseases and highlight the importance of international collaboration in animal health and food safety. Focus areas included Bovine Tuberculosis (BT), African Swine Fever (ASF), and Emerging Zoonotic Influenza. The event emphasized the interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health, promoting the One Health approach. It underscored the need for multidisciplinary teams to combat these diseases and invited partners to collaborate with PROCINORTE in advancing animal health and technology dialogues across the region.
