Resumen

  • Marine & Fishery Sciences (MAFIS) is an Open Access charge-free journal edited by the Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo Pesquero (INIDEP) that publishes peer-reviewed articles of original investigations not published elsewhere except as a brief abstract in a scientific meeting or symposium. It is published two times a year (June and December) aiming all work and studies on applied or scientific research within the many varied areas of the marine sciences, including but not limited to aquaculture production, oceanography and marine technologies including conservation and environmental impact. MAFIS is specialized in marine and freshwater fisheries, including social-related aspects that directly or indirectly affect to human populations. The quality of the journal is guaranteed by the editorial and advisory boards, consisting of leading researchers in the field of marine sciences.
