Alain Thermil is agronomist who has studied in Haiti (BS), Belgium (project management) and the US (MSc in NREM). He is a fullbrighter and has published some articles and essays. He is focused on rural development, especially participation and innovation in rural Haiti. Also, he has developed a solid expertise in project/program management with more emphasis over evaluation. Since he has joined the IICA world in 2009, as a Project Specialist, He has been putting his experience to assist the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Tourism to develop their programs. He is focal point for IICA in front of several international partners, such as: WB, IDB, IFAD, EU, USDA and so on.
