Craig M. Thomas is an Eng. Agronomist specialized in Agricultural Business which he obtained at the University of Guadalajara in Mexico. Prior to joining IICA he assisted with writing a number of projects geared at upgrading the poultry sector of the secondary schools agricultural sector for the Ministry of Education . Craig has a keen interest in the area of inclusion where he works with NGO's and Producer Groups within the agricultural sector and also the development of the agro processing sector. Craig speaks Spanish fluently which he learnt while pursing his studies in both Venezuela and Mexico. He was the first youth to hold the presidency of the Antigua and Barbuda Agricultural Forum for Youth (ABAFY) during its inception in 2001, he also held the position of Vice President of the North Region for the Caribbean Forum for Youth (CAFY). He recently co-write a paper which was submitted and accepted by the 54th CFCS annual meeting which will be read in 2018.
