Lisa Harrynanan, is the National Agricultural Health and Food Safety Specialist for the IICA Office in Trinidad and Tobago. She holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus, with emphasis on postharvest technology and crop processing. Additionally, she holds a postgraduate diploma in Postharvest Biology and Technology from the University of California, Davis. She currently is the project leader for IICA’s Agricultural Health and Food Safety projects and interventions in Trinidad and Tobago in addition to providing technical support to the execution of other projects under IICA technical cooperation strategy. Her recent publications includes: Product Quality Attributes of Foam-Mat Dried Pumpkin Powder (Acta Hort., 2014) and Advancing the Root Crop Industry in the English Speaking Caribbean (CAES, 2014).
