Damien Hinds is the National Programme Technical Officer at the IICA Barbados Delegation since January 2005. In this capacity he supports the Representative in implementing the IICA technical programme for Barbados. Over the years he has developed expertise in the areas of; Protected Agriculture; Organic Production; and Beekeeping and has provided support to the ministry of agriculture and the farming community in these areas. In addition, Damien has developed and managed a number of projects funded by both IICA and external resources.

As a trained Land Surveyor he brings this skill set to the site planning of agricultural projects.
